Pediatric Neurocritical Care Program

We provided specialized pediatric neurocritical care services via a dedicated group of pediatric intensivists. Working within the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Pediatric ICU, the members of the Pediatric Neurocritical Care program provide care to children with acute neurological conditions by integrating expertise from Neurological Surgery, Neurology, Trauma Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Nursing, and Respiratory Therapy. Each year, the Pediatric Neurocritical Care Program co-manages the medical care of more than 700 children.
