Megan Browning
Med school at Harvard, residency and chief year at UC San Diego/Rady Children's

Her history is significant for performing principal operetta roles onstage as well as bench research on HPV (the virus, not the mechanism for maintaining oxygenation in the face of lung consolidation).  When not acting out her current "Chiefly duties," she enjoys playing, singing, and writing music.

Dev Iyer
Med school in Tanzania, residency at Driscoll Children's in Corpus Christi

Sure to be a finalist in the "longest journey to Pittsburgh" contest, was born in India and grew up in East Africa. She is fluent in 5 languages, was part of a team working to eradicate measles in rural Tanzania, and enjoys running, reading, and music.

Jenny Mendelson
Med school, combined pediatrics-emergency medicine residency, and chief residency at the University of Arizona

Grew up in Arizona, was a varsity swimmer as an undergrad in Maine, was an early childhood special education assistant in Nebraska, has done research on CPR and prostate cancer (in unrelated projects), and enjoys hiking and cycling.

Bob Newmyer
Med school at Drexel, residency at Rainbow in Cleveland

A graduate of Philadelphia's La Salle University and Drexel College of Medicine, Bob earned a master's degree in pursuing molecular research investigating inflammatory bowel disease at Boston University.  As a resident at Rainbow in Cleveland, he was voted the PGY-2 Resident Teacher of the Year and served on the MD-RN Committee, Rainbow Staff Council, and Residency Advisory Council.  Besides reading awesome fiction and dabbling in new food preparations, Bob is a former swim coach, swim instructor, and 10+-year lifeguard.  Favorite quotation: "Burn the candle at both ends."

Diana Pang
Med school at the University of Illinois, residency at Milwaukee Children's.

She has done research on DNA methylation of interleukin genes.  Diana enjoys playing the piano, reading literary analysis, and spoiling her dog.
