Luther Springs is a Research Technician in the CRISMA Molecular Core Lab (CMCL). Although he has been working with Dr. Joe Carcillo for the past 8 years at Children’s Hospital, Luther recently moved to Scaife Hall and is assisting with various lab tasks related to Dr. Carcillo’s Biomarker Phenotyping of Pediatric Sepsis and Multiple Organ Failure (PHENOMS) study. He is located on the 10th floor of Scaife Hall, room 1012. Luther lives in the Pittsburgh area with his 12 year old daughter and her pets—Chi-Chi (cat) and Tyrone (guinea pig). Luther’s spare time is spent accompanying his daughter to her many activities…ballet, basketball, acting class and choir.
