Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine
Dr. Chiarchiaro is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He was recently a PACCM fellow and a CRISMA fellow in CCM. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed internal medicine residency training at Duke University Hospital. Mentored by Dr. Douglas White, his research interest is in decision making and communication in advanced lung disease. He is currently developing novel approaches to developing advance care planning interventions for patients with advanced lung disease and their families.
