Elizabeth Gimbel

Assistant Project Manager

I grew up in York, PA and moved to Pittsburgh after graduating high school to attend the University of Pittsburgh where I earned a B.S. degree in 1992. While attending the university, I began research work in geriatric medicine and this started my career in the research world. After graduation, I moved to Buffalo, NY where I worked for the Statistical and Data Management Center that conducts trials for the AIDS Clinical Trial Group. I was responsible for developing and implementing data collection forms & schedules for various clinical sites, generating reports for FDA & study teams, & preparing data for DSMB & final analyses for statisticians at the Harvard School of Public Health. After moving back to Pittsburgh, I worked as a clinical research data coordinator with Pittsburgh Clinical Research Network (UPMC).  In 2010, I began my role as an assistant project manager in CCM.

While not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy biking, walking, reading, sporting events & traveling. My kids have inherited my love of traveling, so best of all we enjoy traveling to new places together.
