Dr. Malaiyandi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is board-certified in Neurology and Neurocritical Care. She completed her Neurology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and her Neurocritical Care training through the multidisciplinary critical care Fellowship program at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Malaiyandi is the Interim Medical Director of the Neurovascular ICU at UPMC-Altoona. Her non-clinical areas of interest include bioethics and creating simulation-based education for management of neurological emergencies.
