Alicia received her undergraduate degree from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. She then attended The Ohio State University where she obtained both her medical and Master in Public Health with a Specialization in Clinical and Translational Science degrees. She completed her pediatrics residency as well as a pediatric chief residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, followed by her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is currently a NIH T32 Postdoctoral Scholar in the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research where she focuses on outcomes in the solid organ abdominal transplant recipients secondary to severe sepsis and neurological complications.
