Employed by Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in the Respiratory Care Services Department since 1977. Responsible for providing continuing education to respiratory therapists and others as needed. Develops and reviews policies / procedures and educational programs. Orders and maintains departmental supplies and equipment. He is innovative and creative, and he frequently develops unique therapeutic approaches to meet atypical clinical needs. Serves on numerous hospital committees and taskforces, and collaborates with RNs, MDs and others on projects within the hospital and nationally. Over the years he has been a tremendous resource to RT staff and others, and have contributed greatly to the development of our services and our clinical training program for students.
