Center for Critical Care Nephrology



The Center for Critical Care Nephrology specializes in developing, testing and evaluating devices for the diagnosis and treatment of critical illness.





Our Vision 

The Center for Critical Care Nephrology promotes a multi-professional model of basic, translational, and clinical research with the goal of developing novel treatments and disruptive innovations to prevent, manage, and cure acute disorders of kidney function, as well as fluid and electrolyte disorders in critically ill patients.

Donations to the Center for Critical Care Nephrology at the University of Pittsburgh support important research and training of new physician researchers.
