The Safar Symposium is a two-day multi-departmental research conference held jointly by the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research and the Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation Education and Research (WISER) in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. This year’s program is focused on the watershed effect of the opioid epidemic on resuscitation medicine. Outstanding national and local faculty will present the latest findings in their respective fields, including novel investigations spanning bench to bedside.
